How do I thaw a Deep Freeze machine?  What are the keyboard commands to thaw or freeze a Deep Freeze machine.

Resolution

Windows

1. Log into the Windows.
2. Press Ctrl, Alt, Shift F6.
3. Login:
   • Windows:
   • Password:  contact your supervisor

1. Click OK
2. Select the either Boot Frozen or Boot Thawed for the Status on Next Boot. 
3. Click Apply and reboot to apply your changes.

Note:  If thawing machine repeat steps to freeze the machine.

Mac:

1. Log into the Mac.
2. Press Ctrl, Alt, Shift F6.
3. Login:
   • Username:  Admin
   • Password:  Check EPS if you have access or contact your supervisor.                                               

1. Click OK.
2. Select the either Boot Frozen or Boot Thawed for the Status on Next Boot. 
3. Click Apply.
4. Reboot the Mac to make the change take effect. 

Note:  If thawing machine repeat steps to freeze the machine.
