Enterprise Learning Management (ELM)
The State of Minnesota's Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) system is a searchable registration system that lists workshops, courses and conferences available to employees statewide. Enterprise Learning Management is part of Enterprise Talent Development program provided by Management and Budget.
To get started with Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) start at the State of Minnesota Employee Self Service Portal. Then click on the Learning Management Tile.
Maverick Academy Series
Minnesota State’s Maverick Professional Development Academy is a program designed for ambitious staff and faculty who wish to learn more about themselves and the University, along with developing leadership skills to grow in their current positions and prepare themselves for their future.
The Maverick Professional Development Academy is a series of monthly day-long sessions that focus on University and professional development topics. Each session includes a combination of lecture, content, interaction, and reflection. Examples of potential topics include StrengthsFinder, Speed of Trust, MSU 101, Civic Advocacy, Leadership, Communication, Conflict Management, Global Competency, and more.
LinkedIn Learning
Employees are provided free access to LinkedIn Learning, a customizable and personalized learning platform that allows users to view hundreds of video courses on a wide variety of topics, all made by experts.

MinnState Luoma Leadership Academy
The Luoma Leadership Academy is a 15-month leadership development program designed to nurture leadership talent and grow our own leaders at Minnesota State. The program is sponsored by the Minnesota State system office.
Luoma provides high quality, cost-effective leadership development grounded in concepts, skills, and experience to help participants lead effectively within departments, colleges and universities, and throughout the Minnesota State system. It provides opportunities for networking, group learning, and individual development, by creating a dialogue that leads to discovery, growth, innovation, and ultimately to both individual and organizational transformation. The work is focused through an equity lens to advance the strategic priority of Equity 2030.
Greater Mankato Growth Leadership Institute
The Greater Mankato Leadership Institute is a nine (9) month program providing the opportunity to develop leadership goals as well become better informed about our community's businesses and nonprofit organizations and connect with other professionals in the area

The HERS Leadership Institute program is renowned for its transformative impact on mid-career women, and we are always developing new programs to complement it. From helping young professionals begin their leadership development to giving senior level professionals the tools they need to take control of their career, our goal is to build a robust arch of programs that buttress career-spanning journeys of learning and leadership development.
