Overview
This article is intended for faculty and staff who are submitting a transfer course for an equivalency review. It includes the steps needed to submit the course in the Transfer Evaluation System (TES). Any faculty or staff member who has access to TES can submit a course for review.
How-To
Step 1: Log In
Step 2: Find the Sending Institution

Hover over Search.

Click Course Finder.

Use the search bar to enter the institution’s name or keyword.

Click Search.

From the results, click the arrow to the left of the correct institution.
Step 3: Choose a Data Set
Step 4: Find the Sending Course
You can search for a course in one of three ways:
Once found:

Check the box next to the course.

Click View in the upper right corner.
Step 5: Check for Existing Equivalencies
Step 6: Propose a Course Match

In the upper right, hover over the icons.

Click on the two feet icon to create a new equivalency.
Step 7: Choose the Equivalent Course
If you're not proposing an equivalent, leave it blank and a reviewer will assign one.
Step 8: Preview and Add Support Files

Click Preview (upper right).

If available, upload supporting documents (e.g., syllabus, course outline).

Double-check that the course info is correct.

Add any helpful comments for the reviewer.
Step 9: Assign the Evaluation Task
What Happens Next?

Department Chair reviews and approves in TES.
-
Registration & Academic Records enters the equivalency in uAchieve (used for degree audits and eServices).
-
Transferology is updated twice weekly (Monday & Wednesday nights).
Only students evaluated after an equivalency is entered will be automatically affected. Students already enrolled require manual updates (no substitution form needed). Submit manual update requests via Registration and Academic Records.
