Requesting Student Access to Microsoft Visio or Project

Explains how employees can request Microsoft Visio or Project access for students through Microsoft Azure Education and guide them to download and activate the software.

Overview

This article is for employees who need to request access to Microsoft Visio or Project for their students.

How-To

Requesting student access to Microsoft Visio or Project:

1. You will need to enroll at Microsoft Azure Education Software
2. If you haven’t been signed in yet, sign in using your <starid>@go.minnstate.edu and password.  This would be the same login as your email

NOTE: This is a service for students only.

3. Click on Activate now as in the picture: 

1. Fill in the form with your name, email, and phone number
2. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
3. It will then take you to this page: 

7. Click on Software and you will see a list of different software available for download

8. Search for Visio or Project and select the appropriate software. There is a download button for downloading the software as well as a view key button for the license key to the software
