This article is for employees who need to request access to Microsoft Visio or Project for their students.

How-To

Requesting student access to Microsoft Visio or Project:

  1. You will need to enroll at Microsoft Azure Education Software
  2. If you haven’t been signed in yet, sign in using your <starid>@go.minnstate.edu and password.  This would be the same login as your email

NOTE: This is a service for students only.

  1. Click on Activate now as in the picture:

  1. Fill in the form with your name, email, and phone number
  2. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  3. It will then take you to this page: 

The Microsoft Azure Education Hub webpage welcomes users with resources for students, educators, and learners, featuring options to download free professional development software and explore guided learning paths through Microsoft Learn.

  1. Click on Software and you will see a list of different software available for download

The Microsoft Azure Education Software page displays a searchable catalog of 139 downloadable tools organized in a table format

  1. Search for Visio or Project and select the appropriate software. There is a download button for downloading the software as well as a view key button for the license key to the software
