Question
I have Warranty for my computer and it does not work properly. I would like to talk with my manufacturer about repairing my computer by helping me resolve the issue.
Also, I may have a computer being repaired and want to check the status.

Check your warranty coverage with this information. under the category of device that you have. You may also use this information if you have an ongoing repair and would like an update on the status.

- Enter your serial number. If you don't know what that is please use the information below.
- Click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner.
- Select About this Mac.
- There should be a serial number listed, but if it doesn't, the serial number is on the bottom of the computer and is 12 characters long.
- Apple will guide you on how to do troubleshooting and help you resolve your problem the easiest way.

Enter your service tag number and/or express service code and follow the directions to troubleshoot your problem and determine a repair procedure. Dell provides direct to the home, repair service as well as mail in repairs. The service tag is located typically on the bottom of the laptop or under a flap that needs to be opened and on the top and the back of a desktop.

- Note: You must have the business warranty.
- The serial number can be found either by locating it on the back cover of the machine or clicking on the start menu in the lower left corner
- Click on Settings or gear icon on the left side of the menu.
- Click on Systems.
- Click on About.
- This should display the serial number.

Log in to your customer account or create an account using the policy number on your warranty certificate. Enter all the necessary information to enable a repair and work order.
