Resolution

Make sure that the graphics card is up to date.

  1. Click the Start Button located in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
  2. Right click Computer and select Manage.
  3. In the Computer Management window, click Device Manager.
  4. Expand Display Adaptors and double click the display.
  5. Choose the Driver tab and click Update Driver.
  6. Click Search automatically for updated driver software.
  • Note: Double check both ends of whichever type of cable (ex. VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc.) to assure that they are plugged in all the way.  For certain newer Dell models, the docking station will need a specific driver to work successfully.
