Overview

Courses integrations pull from both your Student Information System (via CSV) and from D2L. Breakdown of Sources by Integration feature:

• Course List – CSV
• Course Detail and Schedule – CSV:
  • Course name
  • Course short name (e.g. SOC 485)
  • Semester
  • Start and End Dates
  • Course number
  • Start and End times of the class
  • Faculty teaching the class
• Assignments - D2L
• Grades - D2L
• Announcements - D2L
• Discussions - D2L
• [Coming soon!] Quizzes - D2L Where do Courses Integrations appear:
• Ready Home: Highlights appear in “Today’s Schedule” and “Upcoming Due Dates”. Current semester registrations appears in “My Courses”
• My Courses: Full Courses integration Courses Integrations Flow:
  • User opens the Mav Life app
  • User authenticates with D2L authentication (starID, not email)
  • Course List, Detail, and Schedule appears immediately on Ready Home and in My Profile under “My Courses”
  • Assignments, Grades, Announcements, and Discussions usually update within 1 minute of signing into the app but may take up to 5 minutes for large amounts of data.
  • New data added will generate a notification.
