Overview
A network reset removes and reinstalls all network adapters on your computer. It also restores most network settings to their default state. This includes clearing saved Wi‑Fi passwords and VPN settings.
A network reset can help resolve many connection‑related problems.
How-To
Follow the steps below to perform a network reset:

Select the Start button on the taskbar.

Open Settings (the gear icon).

Open the navigation menu (three horizontal lines) at the top right of the window.

Select Network & Internet.

Make sure you are on the Status page.

Scroll if needed, then select Advanced network settings.

Select Network reset.
-
Select Reset now.

When prompted, select Yes to confirm.
Note: If your computer does not restart automatically within 5 minutes after the reset begins, restart it manually.

After the computer restarts, sign in and check that your network connection is working.
Outcome
Your network adapters and network configuration settings will be reset to their default state.
