Logging into Scholarship Finder as a Student Applicant

Overview

This article explains how student applicants can log in to Scholarship Finder and what to do if login issues occur.

Who Can Log In

Students who meet one of the following criteria can log in to Scholarship Finder:

  • Newly admitted students 
  • Current students 
  • Student who have attended classes within the last two years 

Note: Applicants who have applied but have not yet been admitted will have a StarID but will not be able to log in. They may see an “invalid username or password” error even if their credentials are correct.

Log In to Scholarship Finder

  1. Go to Scholarship Finder
  2. Select Sign In in the top right corner
  3. Select Sign In with Your Institution
  4. Enter your StarID and StarID password
  5. Select Sign On

If a student has applied but has not yet been admitted to Minnesota State Mankato, they will have a StarID, but will not be able to login to Scholarship Finder. They will receive an invalid username and password error even though they just reset their StarID password.

Troubleshooting Login Issues

If you are unable to log in:

  1. Reset your StarID password.
  2. Try logging in again using your updated password.
  3. If you still cannot log in, contact the IT Solutions Center for assistance.

Outcome

After completing these steps, eligible students will be able to access Scholarship Finder using their StarID credentials.
