The length of time a student has to drop classes without penalty depends on the length of the class. For full term courses (courses that begin during the first week of the semester and end the last week of the semester), students have the first 5 days of the semester to drop a course without a grade or financial obligation. For short courses or late start courses, students have one day following the start date of the course to drop without a grade or financial obligation.
You may look up the specific drop/withdrawal time frames for each course on your schedule in eServices. Once logged in to E-services, go to Courses and Registration, then View/Modify Schedule. You will see your courses listed like this:
