Overview
This article explains how to use Starred Contacts in the Zoom Phone soft phone app. While Zoom Phone does not offer a traditional speed dial feature, Starred Contacts provide similar functionality by allowing users to quickly access frequently called contacts.
Starred Contacts are easy to set up and can be accessed directly from the Phone tab in the Zoom app.
How-To
The Zoom soft Phone App does not have a speed dial feature, but it does have a similar feature called starred contacts.
- From the Zoom Phone App, search for the user you wish to start a contact with
- Once you find the preferred user, select the 3 dots to the right, and click Star this Contact
- You can view your Starred Contacts by going to the Zoom App - select the Phone tab - Starred
Outcome
After completing these steps, the selected contact will appear in your Starred list, allowing you to quickly place calls without searching for the contact each time.
