How-To

To add a holiday greeting to your Zoom Phone Call Queue voicemail, you'll need to access the Zoom web portal, navigate to your Phone settings, and then manage your holiday hours.

Instructions

Step 1 - Sign in to the Zoom web portal: Log in to your Zoom account as an administrator with the necessary permissions. 

Step 2 - Navigate to Auto Receptionists: In the navigation menu, click on Phone System Management and then Auto Receptionists. 

Step 3 - Select the Auto Receptionist: Choose the specific auto receptionist that handles the queue where you want to set the holiday greeting. 

Step 4 - Access Holiday Hours: Click on the Edit button next to Holiday Hours and then click Manage

Step 5 - Add a New Holiday: Click the Add button to create a new holiday entry. 

Step 6 - Configure the Holiday:

  • Name: Enter a descriptive name for the holiday (e.g., Christmas). 
  • Holiday Hours: Specify the start and end dates and times for the holiday. 
  • Select "All Day": If the holiday is all day, check this box. 
  • Select "This is a recurring holiday": If the holiday occurs annually, check this box and set the recurrence pattern. 

Step 7 - Save the Holiday Entry: Click the Save button to add the holiday to the list. 

Step 8 - Set the Greeting: Under Greeting Prompts, click Edit

Step 9 - Select a Greeting: Choose from pre-recorded greetings in the Asset Library or upload a custom audio file. 

Step 10 - Customize Call Handling: You can also customize how calls are routed during the holiday period, such as forwarding to voicemail or another extension. 

Step 11 - Save Changes: Click Save to apply the changes.
