Introduction
Have you just reset (changed) your StarID password and now can't get signed onto your state-owned work device?
What to do when you cannot Log into University Laptop.
Instructions
If you're logging into a computer for the first time, or if you have just reset your password on the StarID website and are unable to sign into your Windows or macOS computer, please follow these steps:
- While on campus, connect an Ethernet cable directly into laptop (or through an Ethernet dongle).
- Login with your StarID and StarID password
NOTE: you many need to power off and turn your device back on before this method will work properly.
