Checking for Local Administrator Rights on Windows Device

Overview

This article explains how to check whether your user account has local administrator rights on a Windows computer. Local administrator access is required for certain software installations and system-level changes.

How-To

Select the Windows Start button, then select the account button, then select the Change Account Settings option as shown below

Outcome
