Phone Call Recording

Question

Can I record phone calls from my Zoom App or Yealink desk phone? 

Overview

Call recording is available in both the Zoom App and Yealink Desk Phone. 

Zoom App: 

To Record: 

1. During an active call, press the Record button in the Zoom App Phone Menu 

2. You can press the Record button again to stop recording, otherwise, recording will stop when the calls ends.

Manage Recordings: 

1. Go to the Phone tab - History - Then press the Play button to listen to your recording  

Zoom Web 

1. Login to the Zoom Portal using your StarID and StarID password. 
2. Go to the Phone Tab - Recording
3. You can listen to the recordings from this page. 

Yealink Desk Phone: 

You can record phone calls on your Yealink desk phone directly to a USB flash drive, and then play back those recorded audio files.

To Record: 

To record calls on the Yealink desk phone to a USB flash drive:

1. Insert USB flash drive on back of the Yealink desk phone.
2. During an active call, select More->Start REC.
   
3. To stop recording, Select More->Stop REC.
   

Manage USB Recordings: 

You can play or manage the USB-stored recordings from the Yealink desk phone. 

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port in the back of the Yealink desk phone.
2. Navigate to Menu->USB->Browse Audio.
   
   
   
3.  Highlight the desired file, and select Play.
