Exporting Quiz Attempts to a Spreadsheet from D2L Brightspace

Overview

This article explains how instructors can export student quiz attempts from D2L Brightspace into a spreadsheet file. Exported quiz data can be saved outside of D2L for recordkeeping, review, or further analysis.

The exported file is available in CSV or Excel format and can be stored on a local computer or portable storage device.

Export your students’ Quiz attempts to a spreadsheet to save outside of D2L Brightspace:

1. From the course homepage, Click the Assessments menu.
2. Click Quizzes from the menu.
3. Assure you are on the Manage Quizzes tab.
4. Click the menu arrow to the right of the quiz you wish to export.
5. Click the Grade option.
   
6. Click the Export to CSV or Export to Excel button.
7. A pop-up window will appear, when the export is complete, the file will download automatically.
8. Save the spreadsheet file to your choice of locations or folders on your local drive or portable storage device.
