Overview
A StarID is a unique username used across all institutions within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Every student and employee is assigned a StarID, which provides access to key university services.
If you are using your StarID for the first time or do not have a password, you must activate your StarID and create a password before logging in.
Where Can I Use My StarID?
Your StarID is used to log in to most Minnesota State Mankato services, including:
- Campus Wi-Fi
- Classroom, public lab, and kiosk computers
- D2L Brightspace (Desire2Learn)
- E-Services
- Financial Aid Portal
- MavCONNECT
- MavMAIL
- New Student Enrollment Confirmation
- New Student Orientation Registration
- Scholarship Finder
