Overview

To request an Enrollment Verification from Minnesota State University, Mankato, students can use the National Student Clearinghouse for the fastest access. If that’s not an option, they may submit a completed Enrollment Verification Form or loan deferment paperwork to Registration and Academic Records. Official verifications are only processed after the add/drop deadline and typically take 5–7 business days. These documents are often needed for insurance, loans, employment, or scholarships.

Enrollment Verification 

An Enrollment Verification is an official document from a college or university that confirms a student’s enrollment status. Enrollment verification provides enrollment details for various purposes like insurance discounts, loan deferments, employment, scholarships, etc.  

Important Notes: 

  • Official verifications cannot be processed until after the add/drop deadline for the academic term. 
  • Processing time is typically 5–7 business days. 

How to Obtain Verification 

1. Use the National Student Clearinghouse 

  • Students are encouraged to first try obtaining their own enrollment certificate through the National Student Clearinghouse. This is often the fastest and easiest method. 

2. Loan Deferment Requests 

  • Most loan deferments require a special deferment form from your loan provider. 
  • You may send this form to Registration and Academic Records. 
  • Students are responsible for submitting the completed form to their loan provider.
