Ordering an Official Transcript

Overview

You can request an official MSU transcript to be sent to another school, employer, or organization. There is a fee for official transcripts.

Transcripts can be sent either digitally or by mail. If you're sending a transcript to an international address, you'll also need to purchase a shipping label.

Ordering an Official Transcript

All transcript orders are placed through the National Student Clearinghouse. Processing times are 5-7 business days. Processing occurs in the order in which the request was received.

  1. Go to National Student Clearinghouse
  2. Read the instructions carefully to ensure you choose the correct options when ordering.
  3. Choose Order Transcript
  4. Carefully enter your information. Incorrect entry of information could delay your order or result in an ID Verification Hold.

If you're a student transferring to another MinnState school, you can contact that school directly—they can access your MSU Mankato credits.
