Step-by-Step Course Registration Guide 

  1. Log in to eServices 
    1. Enter your StarID and password. 
  2. Search for Courses 
    1. Select Courses and Registration. 
    2. Click Search for a Course. 
      1. Use filters such as:  
      2. Subject 
      3. Course Number 
      4. For more filter options, use Advanced Search.  
    3. Click Search
  3. Add Courses to Your Wish List 
    1. When you find a course, click the “+” icon. 
    2. Confirm by selecting OK. 
    3. Click Continue to Review My Plan. 
  4. Register for Courses 
    1. Check the box next to the course title. 
    2. Click Select Course(s) to Proceed to Register. 
    3. Enter your password and click Register
    4. Review the confirmation details in the yellow box. 

Step-by-Step Guide to Drop or Withdraw from a Course 

  1. Log in to eServices 
    1. Enter your StarID and password. 
  2. Access Your Schedule 
    1. Select Courses and Registration. 
    2. Click View/Modify Schedule. 
  3. Drop or Withdraw 
    1. Click the “X” next to the course you wish to drop or withdraw. 
    2. Confirm your decision:  
      1. Enter your password. 
      2. Click Drop/Withdraw

FAQ 

When can a student add a course? 

A student may add a course when their registration window is open until the fifth business day of the term or after the first scheduled class meeting (whichever is later). 

When can a student drop a course? 

A student may drop a course within the first five business days of the term, or by the first business day after the first scheduled class meeting (whichever is later). 

What happens when a course is dropped? 

Dropped courses do not appear on the student’s transcript, do not affect academic standing and are eligible for tuition and fee reversal/refund. 

When can a student withdraw from a course? 

A student may withdraw after the drop period and up to approximately 80% of the course term. 

What happens when a course is withdrawn? 

Withdrawn courses are recorded on the student’s transcript with a “W” and do impact academic standing.
