Registration Error Codes

When students at Minnesota State University, Mankato encounter issues during course registration, error codes provide helpful clues about what’s going wrong—and how to fix it. These codes are designed to guide students toward the right resources, whether that’s an advisor, instructor, or university office.

Resolving Registration Errors

In many cases, resolving an error means reaching out to:

  • The course instructor AND/OR
  • An academic advisor AND/OR
  • The department offering the course

If they approve, they can enter an electronic override. Once that’s done, students can return to E-Services and complete their registration.
