Navigating E-Services

Overview

This is a general overview of the services available in the the e-Services portal, including accessing academic, financial, and personal information through various menu options. 

Logging into E-Services 

  1. Go to www.mnsu.edu/eservices.  
  2. Enter your STAR ID and STAR ID password, then click Login. 
  3. After logging in, you'll be taken to your Dashboard, where you can view:  
  • Holds affecting registration 
  • Action items 
  • Class schedule 
  • Financial aid 
  • Information from other MinnState schools you attend 

Navigation Menu Overview 

  1. Account Management 
    • Opt in/out of text messaging from the college 
    • Update your name and address, including diploma address 
    • Update Emergency Contact 
  2. Courses & Registration 
    • Search for courses 
    • View or modify your schedule 
    • Register for classes 
    • Enter Access Code 
  3. Academic Records 
    • Check grades 
    • View your unofficial transcript 
    • Access your degree audit 
    • Submit Transfer Review 
  4. Financial Aid 
    • View financial aid status per semester 
    • See next steps or remaining requirements 
    • View awards by credit level 
    • Set up direct deposit 
    • Access loan information 
  5. Bills and Payment 
    • View account details 
    • Make payments 
    • Set up a payment plan 
    • Retrieve tax information 
  6. Student Employment 
    • Enter timesheets (for work-study or non-work-study jobs) 
    • Set up direct deposit for student employment 
    • Access employment and tax documents 
  7. Contact Us 
    • Reach out to offices related to each tab above 
  8. Campus 
    • Order Textbooks 
    • View MSU Mankato’s address and phone number
