Logging into Microsoft Teams

Overview

Microsoft Teams can be accessed through the desktop app, mobile app, or any modern web browser. To sign in, users enter their StarID username and password (or institutional login credentials) to authenticate through Microsoft 365. Once signed in, Teams automatically syncs chats, meetings, files, and team spaces associated with the user’s account, making it easy to collaborate and stay connected across devices.

How-To

Instructions

  1. Sign into Teams by using your StarID@go.minnstate.edu for students, or StarID@minnstate.edu for staff and StarID password
  2. Another sign in box may appear where you will need to re-enter your StarID (@go.minnstate.edu for students, and @minnstate.edu for staff)

Outcome

Once signed in, you can access your chats, meetings, files, and teams, and begin using Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.
