07/14/2023 Perceptive Content Client Upgrade

Note: The latest version as of 07/17/2023 is 7.9.0.281 in Software Center!

The upgrade to perceptive content has been completed. A quick reminder that there is a client update that needs to be installed if you use it.  Please pass this along to anyone who needs this information.

1. Software Center Install - this is a self service installation for windows machines. Open software center and look for the Imagenow/Perceptive Client install and click install.

2. Remote work - for those working remotely there is a way to install the software remotely. You will need to be connected to our network. Below are two common connection methods and each should allow you to connect to our software center and install the update. 
   1. Always On VPN - for more information on connecting to MSU's network through always on VPN refer to the following articles.

3. WorkMSU - workmsu is a remote desktop client that also has imagenow/perceptive content installed on it. The client will be updated in the environment as part of the upgrade.

4. Web Client - imagenow/perceptive content provides a web client to interact with all aspects of the software with the exception of image capture. You will need to be connected to MSU's network to gain access. See Remote Work above.
