What are the settings for Perceptive Content?
Overview
Minnesota State University, Mankato uses the Perceptive Content software product to image, organize, and track documents. Perceptive Content is a document imaging, document management, and workflow solution for electronic documents. Workflows route folders of scanned images through institutional processes alleviating the need for physical transfer of paper documents while keeping the documents accessible to appropriate University personnel.
Settings will need to be adjusted in order for Perceptive Content to work. Follow the steps below to adjust the settings.
Note: This only works when you are on-campus or on the Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
- Start Perceptive Content.
- On the top left of the Sign-On screen double-click on Connection Profiles.
- Click on Edit connection profiles located in the lower left corner.
- Select your profile and click on Modify.
- Note: your profile name might be something different.
- Set the Settings to the following:
- Name: Perceptive Content MFA.
- Note: This setting you can set what you want it to be, but the rest of the settings must be set as they are listed.
- Server ID: dimm.campus.mnsu.edu
- Server Type: Production
- Port Number: 6000
- User OpenID Connect: This needs to be checked
- Profile Name: dimm
- Note: This needs to be all lower case
- Integration Server URL: https://ecm.mnsu.edu/integrationserver’
- Automatically connect on launch: This should be checked.
- Click on OK to confirm settings.
If these settings are not filled our correct the software will not connect.
