How do I add a Teacher's Assistant in D2L Brightspace? How to I request enrollment of a Co-Instructor in my course?

Use our Add a TA or Co-Instructor form to fast track your request directly to the D2L Brightspace team in IT Solutions.

NOTE: If the Co-Instructor or Teacher's Assistant is an officially listed Instructor of Record in the University Registration system, no action is needed, they will be auto-enrolled into the course.

To submit a TA or Co-Instructor enrollment request:

1. Click the Add a TA or Co-Instructor button in the top left corner of this article.
2. You may be prompted to sign in with your MavMail credentials first.
3. Complete and submit the form.

Email Request

Email your request for manual TA or Co-Instructor enrollment:

1. Email itsolutionscenter@mnsu.edu -or- Submit a Quick Ticket online to IT Solutions.
2. In the email -or- ticket include the following information:

Subject: D2L Enrollment for [Choose one: Teacher's Assistant or Instructor]

Content:

Please manually enroll the user(s) listed below in the role of [Choose one: Teacher's Assistant or Instructor]:

• [First Name and Last Name]
• [Choose one: StarID or Tech ID]

Enroll the user(s) in the following D2L Brightspace course:

• [Semester] [Year]
• [Title of course]
• [List section(s) of course] Note: Please indicate all sections you'd like the user enrolled in to assure full access to Classlist.

I confirm that I am the instructor of record or supervising dean of this course.
