IT Solutions facilitates 3D printing for educational purposes using 3D printers in Wissink Hall 121. Students, faculty, and staff can submit a request for print and a staff member will follow up and complete the print.

Who Can Use It
Cost
Cost is $0.10 per gram of filament and $0.20 per 15 minutes of printing time. A full quote will be provided and payment is required before printing.

Fulfillment Details
Once a request is submitted, a staff member will review it and follow up via email to confirm specifics and print options. Total turnaround time for prints is 2-4 business days after the initial follow-up, depending on the request. Pickup is in Wissink Hall 121, details are provided via email when the print is complete.
File Setup and Resources
- The 3D file must be in .stl format, with units exported as metric when saving the file.
- For a better resolution on the print, try maintaining a high triangle/facets count.
