List of Academic Technology Tools
Active Teaching and Learning Tools
We provide active learning platforms for faculty to use in their instruction. Active learning platforms are multimedia websites and software that allow instructors to create and archive content and activities under one digital roof, integrate with our learning management system, facilitate the integration of Open Educational Resources or traditional materials, and provide opportunities for instructors to provide engaging and effective learning activities.
Invigilation / Anti-Plagiarism
We provide anti-plagiarism software to equip educators with the tools needed in order to effectively check the originality and integrity of a student's work. Invigilation, or the process of ensuring that students are taking their own exams, includes a range of approaches and technologies that can help bring rigor to the testing process for online and blended assessments.
Online Surveys
We provide online survey tools, a type of audience response system. Online surveys can be used by faculty, staff, and students for teaching, research, and administrative purposes.
Screen and Lecture Capture
We provide screen and lecture capture tools for the process of recording lectures and presentations. This practice can be used in both face-to-face courses and in fully online classes. There are also specific classrooms that are set up for classroom recording.
