MavGUEST Wi-Fi Access for Events

Overview

MavGUEST Wi-Fi provides temporary internet access for event attendees without requiring authentication. This service is ideal for conferences, group visits, and special gatherings, ensuring a seamless connection experience.

Who Can Request This Service?

Faculty and staff can request MavGUEST Wi-Fi activation for events by submitting the MavGUEST Event Request Form.

How to Request Event Wi-Fi

Submit your request at least two business days in advance of your event and provide:

  • Event date
  • Building and room number(s)
  • Estimated number of users
  • Intended use of Wi-Fi and any relevant event details

Important Considerations

  • Guests can connect without a password through their device’s Wi-Fi settings.
  • MavGUEST places devices outside the university firewall, so some internal services may not be accessible.
