Mouse Isn't Clicking Correctly in MavAPPS

Question

Why can't I click anything when MavAPPS launches the application?  SPSS opens in MavAPPS, but when I use the mouse it won't click on anything, what is the problem?

Overview

Multiple or single high resolution (2k, 4k, etc) monitors connected to Windows can cause apps not to display at their optimal resolution.

NOTE:  Currently this article doesn't work as Citrix removed this featur in the latest version of Citrix Workspace.  Due to this if you have multiple monitors and different screen resolution and DPI/Scaling settings you will have some issues with being able to click on things or things not sizing right.  The only work around is to install the June version of the Citrix Workspace.  We were told by Citrix this should be fixed in the next release as they are going to re-add the method below..  Hopefully in August or Sept of 2022.  This is only on Windows.

Resolution:

  1. Click on the ^ to the left of the clock
  2. Right-click on the Citrix Workspace icon.
    • Citrix Workspace Icon
  3. Select Advanced Preferences.
    • Citrix Workspace Advanced Prefreences
  4. Click on High DPI.
    • Citrix Workspace Advanced Preferences Menu
  5. Select Yes.
  6. Click on Save.
    • Citrix Workspace Scaling Settings
  7. Click the X in the upper right corner to close window.
  8. Click on the ^ to the left of the clock.
  9. Right-click on the Citrix Workspace icon
    • Citrix Workspace Icon.
  10. Select Exit.
    • Citrix Workspace menu exit
  11. Now we need to re-launch Citrix Workspace.  Click on the start button in the lower left corner.
  12. Scroll down and locate the Citrix Workspace app.
    • Citrix Workspace Start Menu
  13. Click on Citrix Workspace app.
  14. Try launching your MavAPP that you were having issues with and see if it works.
