Logging In to Navigate360

Note: As of Fall 25 MavCONNECT has been rebranded as Navigate360. 

Both names refer to to the same system which was implemented in Fall 2023 and took the place of our Starfish-based system.  

The Navigate360 Student App is known as Navigate360. Therefore, to reduce confusion, we have rebranded the entire system to simply Navigate 360. Faculty and staff may continue to use "MavCONNECT" when referring to the system; however, know that MavCONNECT and Navigate360 mean the same thing and refer to the same system.  

Before starting, you'll need: your StarID, password, and have the Microsoft Authenticator app downloaded and synced with your MSU account.

1. Go to the MSU Navigate360 website.
2. Click the Faculty & Staff Login link.

       3. Username is your StarID@minnstate.edu, password is your normal password for all other MSU logins.

       4. You will likely be prompted by Microsoft Authenticator to enter the number on the screen into the Authenticator app on your phone. Once you have done this, you should have access to your Navigate360 account.

Important Note: The MSU Navigate360 website has a separate link for students logging into Navigate360. Thus, sharing the same exact link for where you login as a faculty member will result in the student not being able to login to their account if they try to login from the Faculty/Staff Navigate360 login link.
