Report on Appointment Quick Guide
Overview
The Report On Appointment feature should be utilized when a student walks in or calls and you have an IMPROMPTU appointment which you would like to document.
Do NOT use this function if a student has an existing appointment made via Navigate360 as that appointment will not be closed out, and you will have created a new, duplicate appointment. See the related article on completing appointment summaries for more information.
Note: As of Fall 25 MavCONNECT has been rebranded as Navigate360.
Both names refer to to the same system which was implemented in Fall 2023 and took the place of our Starfish-based system.
The Navigate360 Student App is known as Navigate360. Therefore, to reduce confusion, we have rebranded the entire system to simply Navigate 360. Faculty and staff may continue to use "MavCONNECT" when referring to the system; however, know that MavCONNECT and Navigate360 mean the same thing and refer to the same system.
How-To
- Log into Navigate360.
- Find your student using the Quick Search Bar. Best practice is to search by StarID or TechID to ensure you have the correct student. If you must search by name, verify that you grab the correct student profile as commons names may have duplicates in the system.
3. Click on "Report on Appointment." This is on the right side under options.

4. Fill out the requested information including:
- Care Unit
- Location
- Appointment Service(s)
- Meeting Type
- Appointment Summary and Notes
5. Click "Save This Report."

Important Note: By using Report on Appointment, you are creating an Appointment and Appointment Summary at the same time. Appointment Summaries ARE visible to students. Students will NOT get Appointment Created notification, however. Students will NOT receive emails that the appointment summary was filed.
