Navigate360: DEI Multi-Cultural Staff - Special Instruction for Kiosk Usage for Drop-in RSO Leadership Meetings

As of November 26, 2025

Overview

This guide has been developed specifically for DEI Staff who will utilize a Navigate360 Kiosk for tracking of drop-in RSO Leadership meetings. These meetings will use a specific DEI service which will track ‘check-in’ time only.

Please see Megan Heutmaker in DEI with any questions.

Note: As of Fall 25 MavCONNECT has been rebranded as Navigate360.

Both names refer to to the same system which was implemented in Fall 2023 and took the place of our Starfish-based system.

The Navigate360 Student App is known as Navigate360. Therefore, to reduce confusion, we have rebranded the entire system to simply Navigate 360. Faculty and staff may continue to use "MavCONNECT" when referring to the system; however, know that MavCONNECT and Navigate360 mean the same thing and refer to the same system.

It is a good idea to bookmark this link for future use.

NOTE: Students can NOT swipe their cards. They MUST use their starID or TechID.

Once they input either their StarID or TechID, they will be ‘checked in’ for the RSO Student Leadership Mtg. This screen will briefly show to students after checking in:

Optional: If DEI MCC Staff want to confirm that a check-in has processed, they can do so by searching for the student who just checked in (use StarID or TechID and the quick search bar) and then by navigating to the student's history tab:

1) Staff view of check-in from student history.

2)

Staff view of student check-in from student visit to support centers

NOTE: Students will not see this notation on Navigate Student.

There is a ‘check-ins’ report which Megan will have access to to pull aggregate data at the end of terms.
