Overview
The YuJa Panorama icon provides students with access to Alternative Formats to meet their needs, providing customizable text, audio versions of documents, or translated materials.
Accessible Student Learning with the YuJa Panorama Icon
In your D2L courses, you may notice a small blue icon that looks like a person inside a circle to the right of many course file documents—such as PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint slides, and more. This is the YuJa Panorama icon, and it opens a powerful set of tools to help you access course materials in ways that best suit your needs.
To Use YuJa Panorama:
- Navigate to your Course Content area in D2L.
- Look for files uploaded by your instructor.
- Next to supported files, you’ll see the accessibility icon—a person inside a blue circle—symbolizing accessibility.
- Click the icon to open the Alternative Formats menu, where you can choose from options such as Immersive Reader, enhanced HTML, EPUB, electronic Braille, and translated language formats.
