How do I login to ImageNow with my StarID?

Overview

The steps to be able to login with StarID to Perceptive Content / ImageNow are as follows:

  1. The Security Manager at your institution will need to grant access to the Perceptive Content / ImageNow campus administrator to manage the ImageNow WebRole for your Institution, within the 'Security Administration Application'
  2. The Perceptive Content / ImageNow campus Administrator will need to login to the 'Security Administration Application' and assign the ImageNow web role to all the Perceptive Content / ImageNow users for your Institution.

Note: Behind the scenes, MinnState syncs these users with the ImageNow web role to the MSU-Mankato AD and IAM structure.

  1. After 2 hrs or so, the Perceptive Content / ImageNow campus Administrator will need to find / modify the accounts to fill in the First and Last Name, to the StarID that was assigned webrole in 'Security Administration Application'

Note:

Users will need to be annually re-assigned to the ImageNow web role yearly

User creation / removal will be done through the 'Security Administration Application'
