Description
MavMail is the official University email service powered by Microsoft Outlook. It is the official communication method for Minnesota State University, Mankato. Check your email often for critical information.
How to Access
MavMail is available through Microsoft Outlook in Microsoft 365 for faculty, staff, and students. Download the desktop app, mobile app, or access it on the web. State-owned computers have the app already installed. If you're a new student or employee, be sure to set up multi-factor authentication the first time you log in.
Log in to MavMail
Login Credentials
- Student, Alumni, and Emeriti Username: YourStarID@go.minnstate.edu
- Employee Username: YourStarID@minnstate.edu
- Password: Your StarID password

- Send, receive, and organize emails.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate availability with others.
- Track tasks, set reminders, and stay organized across your work.
- Copilot integration (paid feature): M365 Copilot (Premium) is paid option that integrates AI-powered features directly into Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 apps to assist with writing, data analysis, email responses, and productivity tasks.
