User Account Management

Description  

IT Solutions provides support, management, and troubleshooting for StarIDs at Minnesota State University, Mankato. StarID accounts are automatically created by the Minnesota State System Office for all current students, faculty, and staff. 

Key Features 

  • Resolving StarID issues: StarIDs not working, multi-factor authentication issues, and duplicate or incorrect StarIDs. 
  • StarID account creation for special users: StarID accounts can be requested via a current staff member for special users, including MavCard and email access. This includes vendors, contractors, student worker employee accounts, and other affiliated cohorts such as bank employees, bookstore employees, CE teachers, consultants, dining services employees, Military Science/ROTC, Otto Rec employees, religious institutions, RSO advisors, TOSA, or visiting scholars. Note, StarIDs are automatically created for current students, faculty, and staff.
