MavMAIL is the official University email service powered by Microsoft Outlook. It is the official communication method for Minnesota State University, Mankato. Check your email often for critical information.
How to Access
MavMAIL can be accessed via Microsoft Outlook on the web app, on the desktop client, or the mobile app. If you're a new student or employee, be sure to set up multi-factor authentication first.
Log in to MavMAIL
Login Information
Students, Alumni, and Emeriti:
- Sign in to MavMAIL/Microsoft 365 with: <yourStarID>@go.minnstate.edu
- Your MavMAIL/Microsoft 365 password is the same as your StarID password
Employees:
- Sign in to MavMAIL/Microsoft 365 with: <yourStarID>@minnstate.edu
- Your MavMAIL/Microsoft 365 password is the same as your StarID password

*The Microsoft Outlook software license will expire two years after departing the University. The web version of MavMAIL will remain accessible.
