MavMail is the official University email service powered by Microsoft Outlook. It is the official communication method for Minnesota State University, Mankato. Check your email often for critical information.
How to Access
MavMail can be accessed through Microsoft Outlook on the web app, on the desktop client, or the mobile app. If you're a new student or employee, be sure to set up multi-factor authentication the first time you log in.

Login Credentials
- Student, Alumni, and Emeriti Username: YourStarID@go.minnstate.edu
- Employee Username: YourStarID@minnstate.edu
- Password: Your StarID password
Who Can Use It
- Students
- Faculty
- Staff
- Alumni and emeriti (The Microsoft Outlook software license will expire two years after departing the University. The web version of MavMail will remain accessible.)
