This article explains how to use YuJa Panorama to check digital materials for accessibility using the DocHub tool. It’s designed for employees who want to improve their document’s accessibility with automated reports and issue breakdowns.
What Is YuJa Panorama?
Creating accessible digital materials doesn’t have to be overwhelming. YuJa Panorama is a standalone tool that analyzes documents—such as PDFs, Word files, and PowerPoint presentations—for accessibility.
YuJa’s DocHub tool offers a clear, actionable scoring system to improve the accessibility of digital content. It generates a score based on how well the content aligns with accessibility standards and identifies areas for improvement.
Uploading Materials to the DocHub
To begin:

Log in to YuJa with your StarID@minnstate.edu and StarID password.

From the main dashboard, navigate to DocHub.

Click Upload Document and select the file(s) you want to analyze.

Once uploaded, YuJa automatically generates an Accessibility Report.

Click on the Accessibility Report to drill down further.

Each document receives a score from 0 to 100, based on factors such as:
Major Versus Minor Issues
YuJa categorizes issues by severity:
Start by fixing severe and major issues; this will quickly improve your score and make your content more usable for all learners.
Fixing Issues
Click the error categories to fix issues based on urgency.
Tips for Success

Use the built-in accessibility checkers available in most content creation tools, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, while creating your materials first. These tools can help you identify and fix common accessibility issues before uploading to YuJa.
