Sharing an Award on D2L Brightspace

Students can share a certificate from a D2L Brightspace course with a link and/or by download.This article answers some of the questions such as: How do I share Awards from my course? Download

To download a PDF certificate file:

1. In your D2L Brightspace course click the Assessments menu.
2. Click Awards.
3. Click the Certificates tab.
4. Click the title of the certificate.
5. In the pop-up window click the Generate Certificate link.
6. A PDF file will download, be sure to save the file to your device or to the cloud for later access.

Link Sharing

To share a certificate using a public link:

1. In your D2L Brightspace course click the Assessments menu.
2. Click Awards.
3. Click the Certificates tab.
4. Click the Share link in the certificate you wish to create a link for.
5. Click the Create link button. (Note: This will only be available if your instructor has enabled this option.)
6. A link will be created. Click the Copy link button.
7. Save the link to your device or bookmark for later access.
