Technology Asset Management oversees the full life cycle of University‑owned technology assets such as computers, tablets, and phones. This service ensures secure handling of technology assets, accurate inventory records, and compliance with Minnesota State requirements from purchase through retirement.

Key Features 

  • Technology asset inventory: Tagging, tracking, and maintaining records for university technology assets, including conducting the annual Technology Asset Inventory.
  • Secure technology disposal and recycling: Pickup and proper disposal, recycling, or reallocation of technology assets.
  • Asset transfers and technology moves: Securely erase personal data, refresh software, and update inventory records for reassigned devices. Assistance with tagging, disassembling, and reassembling technology hardware during departmental or office moves.
