Displaying Letter Grade in D2L Brightspace

Overview

This article is for faculty and gives step-by-step instructions to display letter grades in D2L Brightspace. It covers displaying letter grades in both Teacher View and for student users.

How-To

Display Letter Grades in D2L Brightspace Grades

  1. Navigate to your course in D2L
  2. Click Grades from the course navigation
  3. Click Settings in upper right corner of screen

Display Letter Grades in Teacher View

  1. Click Personal Display Options tab
  2. Check the Grade scheme symbol checkbox
  3. Click Save

Display Letter Grades to Student Users

  1. Click Org Unit Display Options tab
  2. Check the Grade scheme symbol checkbox
  3. Click Save

Outcome

The user will be able to display letter grades in the Teacher View and for students to view.
