Overview

The MinnState NextGen Project is focused on implementing and replacing our current system of ISRS with Workday. This will be broken up into two phases, with the first focusing on human capital management (Human Resources and Finance functions) and the second being the student functions. 

Phase 1 - Finance and Human Resources

• On July 1, 2024 Workday went live for Finance and Human Resources (HCM) functions. 
• A site, Friends of NextGen, was developed in order to provide updates on this project, along with resources for training and how to use Workday.

Phase 2 - Workday Student

• The implementation date has not be determined yet for the functionality of student related processes. 
  • All student related functions will remain as is within ISRS until workday student is implemented. The following processes will remain in ISRS at this time: 
    • Student Registration
    • Financial Aid
    • Grades and Transcripts
    • Enrollment Management
    • Curriculum-Term Course
    • Continuing Education and Customized Training
