How can I enable ot disable AI Companion in Zoom Workplace? 

Overview

Zoom AI Companion uses AI technology, which may include third-party models, to let meeting participants quickly catch up and get clarity during a meeting without interrupting it. Meeting participants can ask AI Companion questions about the content of the meeting based on the meeting transcript.

User

To enable the AI Companion for your own use:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click the AI Companion tab.
  4. Under Meeting, click the AI Companion Questions toggle to enable or disable it.
  5. If a verification dialog displays, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
  6. (Optional) Select the checkbox next to Automatically start AI Companion questions for all meetings I host to have meeting summary generation automatically start for meetings you host.
    Note: This does not require the host to be present, as the Meeting Summary generation will begin as soon as someone starts your meeting.
  7. Under Who can ask questions to AI Companion?, choose who in the meeting can interact with AI Companion:
    • All participants: Allows all participants to ask questions about all discussion since AI Companion is active.
    • All participants only from when they join: Allows all participants to ask questions about discussion since they joined the current meeting.
    • Only hosts: Allow only the host, alternative host, and users with host privileges assigned before the meeting starts to ask questions about all discussions since AI Companion is active.
      Note: If the setting is unlocked, this choice is the default during meetings and can be adjusted by the host, alternative host, and users with host privileges assigned before the meeting starts.
