Zoom: Configure Personal Meeting Room For FlexSync Classrooms

Dow do I configure my meeting room for FlexSync classrooms?

Overview

1. Start by going to minnstate.zoom.us

2. Select Sign in

3. Enter your StarID and Password, and then select Sign on

4. In the Meetings section, select Personal Meeting Room

5. Select Edit this Meeting (you will possibly need to scroll down to find this button)

6. Select Change to customize your Personal Meeting ID. You are encouraged to use your 10-digit University telephone number if you have one

7. In the Security section, select Waiting Room, select passcode, and enter your desired passcode

8.  In the Video section, select On for Host and Participant

9. In the Audio section select Both

10. Select your preferred meeting options. Additionally, in the Alternative Hosts field enter the email address of the person that you want to share meeting controls with. An example of this would be an Academic Support Student Worker that is assisting with managing your classroom

11.  Select Save when finished
