How can I check for system updates on my PC?

Overview

To check for latest system updates in your device follow the following procedures:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the Start menu

  1. Click Update and Security

  1. Click Check for updates. Once that is done, if there are any necessary updates, your computer will automatically install them
  2. You may have to repeat this process more than once to Install all updates

  1. Check online for updates from Microsoft Update under Check for updates
  2. Download and run Dell Support Assist
