Granting MavPass Leader or SCoT Observer Course Access in D2L Brightspace

Overview

This article is for faculty participating in the MavPass program or faculty completing an observation with Students Consulting on Teaching (SCoT) program with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. It explains how to give MavPass leaders and SCoT Observers access to course materials and classlist. 

How-To

Grant access to MavPass Leaders and SCoT Observer students by requesting manual enrollment in your D2L Brightspace course:

Step 1 - Contact IT Solutions, including the following information:

Subject: D2L Enrollment for [Choose one: MavPASS Leader or SCoT Observer]

Content:

Please manually enroll the user(s) listed below in the role of Student, who is a [Choose one: MavPass Leader or SCoT Observer]:

  • [Student Name]
  • [Student StarID or Tech ID]

Enroll the user(s) in the following D2L Brightspace course:

  • [Semester] [Year]
  • [Title of course]
  • [List section(s) of course] Note: Please indicate all sections you'd like the student enrolled in to assure full access to classlist.
  • [Web address/URL of D2L Brightspace course home page]
