Description

Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and more! Microsoft 365 is the official suite of apps at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Students and employees get five free downloads of Microsoft 365 for use on work or personally owned devices, plus access to web apps. Apps include Outlook, OneDrive, Forms, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, OneNote, Teams, and more!

How to Access

Log into Microsoft 365 Online

Install Microsoft 365 on Your Devices

Faculty, staff, and students can download the desktop apps, mobile apps, or access on the web. State-owned computers have apps already installed. If you're a new student or employee, be sure to set up multi-factor authentication the first time you log in.

Login Information

Username (Students): YourStarID@go.minnstate.edu

Username (Employees): YourStarID@minnstate.edu

Password: Your StarID password

Who Can Use It

​​Green check mark indicating "Yes" Staff: Yes

Green check mark indicating "Yes" Faculty: Yes

Green check mark indicating "Yes" Students: Yes

Red X indicating "No" Alumni: No*

Red X indicating "No" Emeriti: No*

*The software license will expire two years after a student graduates. Alumni and Emeriti are not able to download Microsoft 365 but can access the web apps. Two years after departing the University, apps are no longer available except for the web version of MavMAIL.
