Logging into VALT

Overview

Access Valt by visiting the Valt login page, entering your StarID, and completing MinnState Single Sign-On with two-factor authentication.

• State-Owned Devices: Equipment provided to university employees and managed by Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Instructions

Accessing Valt 

1. Open your web browser and go to https:/valt.mnsu.edu/. If you are having issues accessing the website, click here for troubleshooting steps. 
2. Enter your StarID into the Username box and then hit Continue. (Username Example: AA1234AA)
3. 
4. The MinnState Single Sign-On screen will appear. Enter your starID@go.minnstate.edu for students or StarID@Minnstate.edu for Faculty/Staff.

6. Once you enter your StarID password and complete the 2-factor authentication, you will be brought to the Valt Home Screen.

6.  Once you enter your StarID password and complete the 2-factor authentication, you will be brought to the Valt Home Screen. 

Outcome

You are successfully logged into the Valt Home Screen with secure access to services.
