Steps to manage your instant notifications:
1. Log In to D2L Brightspace
2. Click on your name in the top left corner to access your personal menu
3. Click on Notifications
4. Your MavMail is automatically set up for email notifications
5. If you want to receive text messages, click on Register your Mobile
6. Fill in the required information. You will be prompted to go through a verification code process with your phone. Note: Most, but not all, cell phone providers are supported.
7. Click on Save
8. Scroll down to Instant Notifications
9. Check the box under the SMS column next to which items you want text notifications for
10. Check the box under the Email column to select items you want email notifications for
11. Click on Save
